On a 425km horseback riding safari trip in Rajasthan India in 1996, she was introduced to the seductive beauty and endurance of the marwari horse. Finding no existing photography, Dale, Francesca Kelly and Raghuvendra Singh Dundlod joined forces to produce a coffee table book, Marwari, which not only raised the breed standard in India, but also introduced this remarkable animal to the world.

In 2001, Dale decided to sell her photographic studio in London to move to Surrey to pursue recording her vision of equus, capturing the infinite moment of raw energy and exquisite beauty of the horse's unique nature. Through her photography, she believes that her vision will inspire people to revere the horse and recognize its place in the world.
